Two people died due to the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours, and there are 120 fatalitiers.
Of the 62 cases, Dr. Duran said 58 are Cubans and 4 are foreigners residing on the island. In 9 persons the source of infection could not be determined.
The expert stressed the complex epidemiological situation that remains in the provinces of Havana and Ciego de Avila.
“Twenty-seven cases were from Havana and 22 from Ciego de Avila. These are the provinces where the restriction measures are stiffer, and they are at a different phase of recovery, and people are working very hard to curb the transmission that remains in both territories.”
