The activities will have a special radius of action in the Museum of José Martí's Birthplace, an institution that is already close to its centennial anniversary and is recognized as the first heritage site that preserved and promoted especially the Maestro's legacy.
During those days, multiple actions will take place in the popularly known as Casita de Martí, among them the exhibition inspired by the figure and work of the Apostle of the Cuban Independence, which will open on Tuesday, January 12, at 3:00 p.m., with samples of elementary level students of the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts, curated by Lesmes Larroza González.

A special moment will be experienced at the José Martí's Birthplace Museum on Wednesday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m., with the screening of the film José Martí: el ojo del canario and the presence there of its director, renowned Cuban filmmaker Fernando Pérez.
The day will continue with a vigil in anticipation of the 168th anniversary of Martí's birth, with the participation of singers and young artists, writers and poets of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), such as Silvio Alejandro, Yosvany Bernal and Ray Fernández, among others, under the direction of Fidel Díaz Castro, director of El Caimán Barbudo.

Similarly, Mario Fabelo's personal exhibition at the José Martí National Library will discuss the representation of the figure of the Apostle in his work.
For its part, the Ibero-American Center of the Décima y el Verso Improvisado (CIDVI) will hold a Marti's Week from January 25 to 28, in which children and young people from the country's improvised poetry workshops will dialogue with the Maestro's legacy and imprint on their lives and on the Cuban people.
