Rumba as an essential factor of national identity will be the main theme of the 12th edition of the festival dedicated to this musical genre organized in Cuba by Timbalaye, its main directors highlighted in Rome on Friday.

Cuba’s Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) issued on Thursday a message for the International Day of Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, ratifying its commitment to the fight against racism.
