{"id":1091,"date":"2023-07-11T08:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-11T12:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/?p=1091"},"modified":"2023-07-10T19:31:30","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T23:31:30","slug":"exhibitions-in-galleries-in-the-capital-of-havana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/exhibitions-in-galleries-in-the-capital-of-havana-11072023\/","title":{"rendered":"Exhibitions in galleries in the capital of Havana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fine arts occupy spaces in Old Havana during this week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Carmen Montilla Gallery is one of them, and next Thursday it will inaugurate the exhibition <strong>Mostrarse en la espesura<\/strong>, by the Peruvian artist Cuco Morales, based on the chromatic visions of the creator.&nbsp; This exhibition is made up of pictorial works that highlight the vitality and resistance of nature and its connection to the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Penumbras<\/strong>, by Yovany Enr\u00edquez, inspired in the 19th century, is exhibited in the same room, which recreates the Romantic influence, in which frivolous landscapes with leafless trees, mostly in autumnal conditions, stand out, with characters whose clothes are enriched with mystical garments and elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Casa de \u00c1frica is exhibiting <strong>Ansias de vida<\/strong> by the Santiago artist Salvador Galindo, whose work represents concepts, expressions that are embodied in his sculptures and that bring the individual closer to the reflection so necessary in these times on the care of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, in the foyer of the Colonial Art Museum, an institution that celebrates its 54th anniversary on July 30, a group of engravings by Antonio Canet Hern\u00e1ndez will be presented as part of the exhibition of the month.&nbsp; This selection corresponds to the works that this Cuban artist created to illustrate <strong>Cecilia Vald\u00e9s<\/strong>.&nbsp; Canet donated the prints of his version of this classic by Cirilo Villaverde to the building&#8217;s collection.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, in the temporary hall, the public can visit the exhibition <strong>Lo que el ojo no ve<\/strong> by Colombian artist Guillermo Londo\u00f1o, curated by Lisandra Aguilar and Lisset Alons.&nbsp; The exhibition includes abstract landscapes without human figures, but without their traces and scars, such as roads, lights or shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
