Three world premieres characterize the upcoming presentation of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba this Sunday, July 16, at 11:00 a.m. in the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The works in their first audition correspond to three maestros of composition in Cuba: Roberto Valera, who will also be the guest conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, Jos\u00e9 Loyola and Alejandro Falc\u00f3n. Valera and Loyola are professors at the University of the Arts, and the talented Alejandro Falc\u00f3n is a graduate of this prestigious institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program will begin with the symphonic version of Jos\u00e9 White’s La bella cubana<\/strong>, by the winner of the 2006 National Music Prize. This will be followed by Loja variaciones sinf\u00f3nicas<\/strong> by Jos\u00e9 Loyola, dedicated to the most musical city in Ecuador, Loja. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program continues with La vida diaria<\/strong> (Habanera Fantasiosa) by Roberto Valera, and ends with Rapsodia afrocubana<\/strong> by Alejandro Falc\u00f3n, the youngest of these three musicians, who presents a proven catalog of Cuban popular music, jazz and concert music, in several national and foreign stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba has included the music of these Cuban maestros in its various seasons, which have been performed at the Festival of Contemporary Music of Havana and the International Music Fair Cubadisco, among other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Radio Enciclopedia’s music library includes the works of Roberto Valera, Jos\u00e9 Loyola and Alejandro Falc\u00f3n, which are widely broadcast in its programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
