Mexican printmaking, one of the most important artistic expressions of the rich culture of this Latin American nation, is once again the protagonist of the Cuban capital’s spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presentation will take place this Thursday, 26th of October at 15:00 in the Rhino Hall of the Taller Experimental de la Gr\u00e1fica de La Habana, according to the National Council of Plastic Arts of the Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The group exhibition Contemporary Mexican Engraving<\/strong> will open in the oldest part of the city, on Callej\u00f3n del Chorro, n\u00famero 62, in the Cathedral Square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This exhibition of Oaxacan prints has two purposes: it will be donated to the art collection of the Casa de las Am\u00e9ricas, and it will also celebrate the well-known Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead, when the souls of the dead return to the world of the living and visit their relatives, who welcome them with food on altars built in their honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Translated by Luis E.
