This will be in celebration of the national hero&#8217;s 171st anniversary of his birth. The OHCH has been working for several decades to reconstruct the city where the young Mart\u00ed lived centuries ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Havana, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed is commemorated throughout the year, but every 28 January, his birthday, is a special date. Activities will include the Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed Day at the Birthplace Museum, which will be inaugurated on the 12th with a performance by the National Concert Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon, there will be a meeting called \u00abSembrar ideas, sembrar conciencia\u00bb as part of the program against cultural colonization. It will involve young people from the Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed Cultural Association, Havana and the Mart\u00ed&#8217;s Youth Movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, the audiovisual film \u00abEl sentido de la descolonizaci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica cultural cubana\u00bb will be screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eusebio Leal, a real follower of Jose Mart\u00ed and an experienced interpreter of the codes that define and mobilize Cuban identity, is one of the passionate historians and researchers from a wide variety of disciplines who have studied the human dimension of the Apostle&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
