As the 171st anniversary of Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed’s birth approaches on 28 January, the Historian’s Office of the City of Havana is continuing its extensive programme of activities to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Friday, 26 January, is going to be an intense day in which the master will be linked to the stage, with a conference at the Teatro Museo de T\u00edteres El Arca by Yudd Favier, MSc, who will talk about the presence of Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed’s work in Cuban puppet theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be followed by the inauguration of the Lealtades<\/strong> temporary space, which will house the Mart\u00ed ni\u00f1o, Mart\u00ed para los ni\u00f1os<\/strong> exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event will end with the performance of El Ruise\u00f1or<\/strong> by the Retablos troupe in the institution itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Translated by Luis E.
