The Symphony Orchestra of the Alicia Alonso Great Theater of Havana will be conducted by Maestro Yhovani Duarte, as reported by Mauricio Abreu, Head of Press and Publicity for the emblematic company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 22nd, Chavela Riera will take on the titular role of Giselle, making her debut in the character. She will be joined by the Russian dancer Semi\u00f3n Chudin, a guest artist and principal figure of the Ballet of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, as Albrecht; the distinguished Cuban dancer Joel Carre\u00f1o, as Hilari\u00f3n; and Gabriela Druyet, making her debut as the Queen of the Wilis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday the 23rd, Grettel Morej\u00f3n will portray Giselle, with Yankiel V\u00e1zquez making his debut as Albrecht. Ernesto D\u00edaz will assume the role of Hilari\u00f3n, and Alianed Moreno will play the Queen of the Wilis, debuting in this role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday the 24th, Anette Delgado and Dani Hern\u00e1ndez will headline as Giselle and Albrecht; Ernesto D\u00edaz will once again embody Hilari\u00f3n, and Estefan\u00eda Hern\u00e1ndez will take on the role of the Queen of the Wilis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following week, performances will take place from Thursday to Saturday. On the 28th, Grettel Morej\u00f3n, Yankiel V\u00e1zquez, Ernesto D\u00edaz, and Gabriela Druyet will respectively play Giselle, Albrecht, Hilari\u00f3n, and the Queen of the Wilis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following week, performances will take place from Thursday to Saturday. On the 28th, Grettel Morej\u00f3n, Yankiel V\u00e1zquez, Ernesto D\u00edaz, and Gabriela Druyet will respectively play Giselle, Albrecht, Hilari\u00f3n, and the Queen of the Wilis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These performances will commemorate the 175th anniversary of the first representation of <strong>Giselle<\/strong> in Cuba in 1849. This piece stands as one of the most important works in the repertoire of the National Ballet of Cuba, recognized as a Cultural Heritage of the Nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performances will take place from Thursday to Saturday at 8:30 p.m., and on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the theater box office starting from Tuesday, March 19, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
