Within the context of the celebrations for the 170th birth anniversary of Cuba’s National Hero, Jos\u00e9 Juli\u00e1n Mart\u00ed P\u00e9rez, the work of Cuban singer-songwriter Adri\u00e1n Beraza\u00edn becomes a special tribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late December, Beraza\u00edn announced he would release a new album on digital platforms between February and March 2023 under the Bis Music record label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abThe album is entitled Juli\u00e1n<\/strong>, my first son who is now three months old. This production is based mainly on the new song and the music that I like, which is mainly rock and roll with many influences of all-time Cuban and international songwriting…,\u00bb he said in an interview published on January 9 on the CubaS\u00ed portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the artist announced on social media that the design of the album, which reflects him, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, and their descendants, together with white roses, is ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the twelve tracks included in the record are A Camila<\/strong>, El friky<\/strong>, La desilusi\u00f3n<\/strong>, Libertad<\/strong>, El silencio<\/strong>, R\u00edo cruzado<\/strong>, Promesa<\/strong>, Muchacha bonita<\/strong>, and Nos comemos el mundo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singer-songwriters Beatriz M\u00e1rquez, Jotabarrioz, and J\u00e9ssica Rodr\u00edguez collaborate on the songs that complete the list: Te quiero tanto<\/strong>, Te salgo a buscar<\/strong>, and Quedar\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available on music distribution platforms since last year, La desilusi\u00f3n<\/strong> also has an accompanying video clip on YouTube, recently recorded at the current edition of the Lucas Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This audiovisual work is dedicated to the intellectual Miguel Barnet, honorary president of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac in Spanish), which features an excellent performance by Ray Cruz, while the direction, editing, and post-production are by Adri\u00e1n Beraza\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This album will be officially released on March 3 at the patio of the National Museum of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New melodies will then convey the positive energy we have been receiving for about ten years with the song Por encima de lo conocido<\/strong>, which identifies its author and Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, the most universal of all Cubans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
