Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) invites you to experience the ultimate celebration of Cuban-style flamenco with Habana y \u00a1Ol\u00e9<\/strong>!, a vibrant event that brings the festive spirit of Seville\u2019s famous fair to the heart of Havana. The iconic Malec\u00f3n Art 255 will come alive with sevillanas, rumbas, and much more in a dazzling showcase of rhythm, color, and joy.<\/p>\n

Set against the majestic backdrop of the \u201cLas Cari\u00e1tides\u201d building on Havana\u2019s Malec\u00f3n Avenue\u2014entre\u00a0 Blanco y Galiano in Centro Habana\u2014the event will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to midnight, celebrating the enduring influence of Spanish culture in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

Adding to the electric atmosphere, live music will stir emotions and lift spirits, led by the LADC ensemble under the direction of Maestra Carmen Souto. Special guests include acclaimed guitarist and composer Reynier Mari\u00f1o and his band.<\/p>\n

Flamenco attire is a must. Attendees are encouraged to dress in traditional Andalusian style\u2014polka dots, flowers, combs, shawls, and dancing shoes\u2014to fully immerse in this one-of-a-kind celebration of music and movement.<\/p>\n

Habana y \u00a1Ol\u00e9!<\/strong> will feature two sessions:<\/p>\n

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. \u2014 A matin\u00e9e for children and families.<\/p>\n

5:00 p.m. to midnight \u2014 An evening celebration for guests aged 16 and up.<\/p>\n

Food stands and stalls offering themed products will add flavor and flair to the festivities.<\/p>\n

For those eager to join in the dance but lacking the moves, the Sevillanas Express Course offers a crash course in the art form. From April 21 to 25, LADC instructors will teach daily classes at Malec\u00f3n Art 255 to help participants master or refine their sevillanas skills.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t have the right outfit? No problem. LADC\u2019s headquarters\u2014located on Compostela Street between Luz and Acosta in Havana\u2019s historic center\u2014will offer costume and accessory rentals from April 21 to 25 during working hours, helping everyone embrace the full spirit of Habana y \u00a1Ol\u00e9!<\/strong><\/p>\n
