With a show entitled Cuban Eclectico<\/strong>, the renowned company Acosta Danza, under the direction of leading Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta, will perform at the Holland Dance Festival from Wednesday, February 8 to Saturday, February 11 at the Luxor Theater in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The program includes well-known works from its repertoire: Fauno<\/strong> by the Belgian-Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Paysage, soudain, la nuit<\/strong> by the Norwegian artist Pontus Lidberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The performance will also include Satori<\/strong> by Ra\u00fal Reinoso and De punta a cabo<\/strong>, based on the original by Alexis Fern\u00e1ndez (Maca), according to Lester Vila Pereira, press director of the prestigious group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Holland Dance Festival website states that Carlos Acosta \u00abbrings together exceptionally talented Cuban dancers, with both classical and modern dance techniques (…) The result is Acosta’s own identity, in which the rich Cuban culture clearly emerges.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Holland Dance Festival is the only international biennial of its kind in the Netherlands.
