He is the author of several books, including the children\u2019s poetry collection <em><strong>Por los valles de mis sue\u00f1os<\/strong><\/em> (2021), the narrative work <em><strong>Karma<\/strong><\/em> (2022), and the science fiction booklet <em><strong>Siete d\u00edas sin Yrla<\/strong><\/em> (2023), all published by Editorial Unicornio. Also published in 2021 was the poetry collection <em><strong>Canto a nuestra Am\u00e9rica<\/strong><\/em>, co-written with Spanish journalist Mart\u00edn Oller Alonso.<\/p>\n<p>Del Pino Cejas is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, the Union of Journalists of Cuba, and the Union of Historians of Cuba. He is also part of the National Group of Rural Writers, the Proyecto Cultural Sur, and the Caf\u00e9 Naranjo Group.<\/p>\n<p>His work has appeared in periodicals and anthologies in Cuba, Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Uruguay. Over the course of his career, he has received awards and honorable mentions in genres such as poetry, narrative, essay, and theater at competitions in several countries.<\/p>\n<p>The event is open to all those interested in learning more about the career and body of work of one of Cuba\u2019s contemporary authors with a presence across multiple genres and media.<\/p>\n<p><em>Libro a la carta<\/em>, a long-running cultural program based at the bookstore located on calle Obispo, entre Cuba y Aguiar, in el Centro Hist\u00f3rico habanero, has been hosted for 25 years by journalist and critic Fernando Rodr\u00edguez Sosa. The program seeks to promote dialogue with Cuban writers whose works contribute to the nation\u2019s contemporary literature.<\/p>\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
