Its success and high demand have prompted the company\u2019s leadership to turn what was once a free monthly offering into a weekly invitation.<\/p>\n<p>The renowned company announced that, beginning in March, the initiative will take place every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Malec\u00f3n Art 255, where grandmothers and grandfathers can embark on a journey through memories, accompanied by songs that defined eras and marked cherished personal experiences, according to a press release.<\/p>\n<p>On March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, participants of all generations will be welcome. Although older adults remain the priority, the open gathering <strong>Bailar no tiene edad<\/strong> promotes mutual understanding, shared enjoyment, solidarity and intergenerational exchange.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4841 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bailar-ladc.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"903\" height=\"508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bailar-ladc.jpeg 903w, https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bailar-ladc-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bailar-ladc-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/bailar-ladc-800x450.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 903px) 100vw, 903px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For one hour, director, instructor and choreographer Lizt Alfonso\u2014together with dancers and teachers from Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba\u2014will lead sessions that combine dance, singing and breathing exercises designed to relax, oxygenate and strengthen both body and spirit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bailar no tiene edad<\/strong> has enabled the company to meet remarkable individuals, some of them willing to travel from other provinces to Havana just to experience this class, overcoming the ailments that often accompany age, as well as the country\u2019s complex transportation situation.<\/p>\n<p>Since the project\u2019s launch in February 2025, hundreds of older adults have gathered in the main hall of Malec\u00f3n Art 255 to receive energy and affection. Some are nonagenarians; others live with physical disabilities or various medical conditions.
