This year\u2019s program is dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>National Award for Conservation and Restoration<\/strong> will be held online from the Military Technical Institute\u2014formerly the Bel\u00e9n School\u2014in Havana, where the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution studied, and which has been declared a National Monument.<\/p>\n<p>At 11:00 a.m. (local time) on April 18, the main event for <strong>International Day for Monuments and Sites<\/strong> will begin. The commemoration is observed annually and was established in 1983 by UNESCO and the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).<\/p>\n<p>At the Servando Cabrera Moreno Museum-Library, a children\u2019s workshop titled \u201c<strong>Painting and Drawing<\/strong>\u201d will take place on Saturday, April 4. The activity will include a joint session with art instructors, who will work with children on the styles found in Servando Cabrera\u2019s works, in celebration of the 64th anniversary of the Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed Pioneer Organization and the 63rd anniversary of the Union of Young Communists.<\/p>\n<p>Also on April 4, the National Museum of Decorative Arts will open its exhibition of the month, \u201c<strong>Colors of Childhood<\/strong>,\u201d featuring European porcelain pieces representing childhood across different artistic traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
