The thematic areas include: theories of sustainable art, focusing on the aesthetic reuse of waste; creative recycling in performance, including techniques using plastics, cardboard, and textiles in collective processes; ecological impact of contemporary Cuban art, highlighting community-based contributions; and art education and sustainable practices, examining the institutional role in community training for recycling.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the forum, a fair will be held featuring participation from students, professionals, and families. Activities will include sculptures made from recycled materials, collaborative sustainable installations, children\u2019s workshops on reuse, and performances centered on material transformation.<\/p>\n<p>The fair will showcase site-specific interventions, workshops, and performances using recycled materials, and will be open to students, amateurs, and families.<\/p>\n<p>Interested participants must submit their proposals (a 300-word abstract, a brief CV, and visual documentation of previous works) to dmcplazarevolucion@gmail.com by May 20, 2026, the submission deadline.<\/p>\n<p>The selection committee will announce the results on May 31.
