The call for submissions to the 47th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema officially opened on May 28. The event will take place in Havana from December 3 to 13, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Festival is accepting entries in the categories of Fiction Feature Film, First Feature, Documentary Feature Film, Short Film, Animation, Other Territories, Reef, Unproduced Screenplay, and Poster Design.<\/p>\n

The event is also calling for entries for the Coral Awards in the Works in Progress and Post-Production categories. Detailed information regarding these awards will be published soon on the Festival’s website under the Industry section and on its social media platforms.<\/p>\n

In addition to its competitive sections, the Havana Film Festival features the non-competitive sections Latin America in Focus<\/em>, Other Latitudes<\/em>, and Environments<\/em>.<\/p>\n

All submissions must be completed through the Festival’s website, www.habanafilmfestival.com<\/a><\/u>, or at the offices of the Festival House no later than August 15, 2026.<\/p>\n
