{"id":599,"date":"2023-03-11T15:49:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-11T20:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/?p=599"},"modified":"2023-03-11T15:50:18","modified_gmt":"2023-03-11T20:50:18","slug":"the-spanish-ballet-of-cuba-performs-la-casa-alba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/the-spanish-ballet-of-cuba-performs-la-casa-alba-11032023\/","title":{"rendered":"The Spanish Ballet of Cuba Performs La Casa Alba"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The magic and genius of the Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca will spread across the stage of the Avellaneda Theater, with the performances of the leading figures and corps de ballet of the Spanish Ballet of Cuba, which will present <strong>La Casa Alba<\/strong> this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the National Theater of Cuba, the performances will take place on Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m., while on Sunday, March 12, at 5:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La Casa Alba<\/strong> by Eduard Veit\u00eda, founder and director of the renowned company 36 years ago, is one of its emblematic plays and shows those universal themes that have always carried Lorca&#8217;s theater: freedom, authoritarianism, tradition, the role of women, religious fanaticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will enjoy in the scene of the Coliseum of Paseo, \u00abamong others, the color black (death), green (rebellion), the moon (pleasure), the heat (intensifies the dramatic tension), the walking stick (tyrannical power) &#8230;.
