Delatour, was screened at Havana&#8217;s Casa del Alba Cultural as part of the Day of Francophonie in Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abThe documentary tells us the story of the emigration of Haitian workers to Cuba in the context of coffee production, contributing their work techniques, which they learned from the French in Santo Domingo, and they emigrated fleeing the Haitian revolution to establish a coffee era,\u00bb said Cristel Plaisimond, First Secretary of the Haitian Embassy in the largest Caribbean archipelago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The diplomat also highlighted the role of the Francophonie as an inspiration of principles and values in the construction of cultural diversity and the role of the integration of the community of descendants and its influence in the Cuban cultural mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laurence Magloire, producer and editor-in-chief of the documentary, expressed her appreciation for the show, which was produced in 2019 and has not been shown in Cuba due to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an online presentation, Mario L.
