Three digital philatelic books will be presented in June to pay tribute to Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed and Ernesto Che Guevara on the occasion of the 170th and 95th anniversaries of their births, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n

The first of the materials is entitled Mart\u00ed, Fidel and the Moncada Program<\/strong> and is the result of the joint work of Cuban specialist Juan Hern\u00e1ndez Machado, winner of the 2012 National Philatelic Prize, and Gilberto Gallo Mart\u00ednez, an outstanding Colombian philatelist and researcher and friend of Cuba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This presentation will take place on Saturday, June 10, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fidel Castro Center, located at Calle 11, entre Paseo y Calle A, in El Vedado, and, in addition to paying tribute to the Cuban national hero, it will serve to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de C\u00e9spedes barracks, which took place on July 26, 1953.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will also celebrate the founding of the Association of Fighters of the Cuban Revolution, three decades ago, and the 40th anniversary of the existence of the Cerro Philatelic Circle.<\/p>\n\n\n

The books dedicated to the heroic guerrilla are De viaje con el Che<\/strong>, by Hern\u00e1ndez Machado, and El Che y el coleccionismo<\/strong>, in its fifth edition, by Gallo Mart\u00ednez, whose presentation will take place on Saturday 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Domingo del Monte Municipal Library, located on Calle Tulip\u00e1n, near the corner of Falgueras, in El Cerro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In both events, in addition to the exchange with the authors, the participants will have the opportunity to take the three materials, the distribution of which is free, and those interested will only have to come with a digital storage device, such as a pen drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
