{"id":962,"date":"2023-06-08T14:18:02","date_gmt":"2023-06-08T18:18:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/?p=962"},"modified":"2023-06-08T14:18:06","modified_gmt":"2023-06-08T18:18:06","slug":"arte-para-papa-gift-fair-2023-with-the-cuban-fund-for-cultural-assets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.radioenciclopedia.cu\/cultural-news\/arte-para-papa-gift-fair-2023-with-the-cuban-fund-for-cultural-assets-08062023\/","title":{"rendered":"Arte para Pap\u00e1 Gift Fair 2023 with the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the name of <strong>Arte para Pap\u00e1 (Art for Dad) Gift Fair<\/strong>, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (CFCA) announces its traditional event dedicated to Cuban fathers from June 9 to 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dedicated to the 45th anniversary of this institution and with novelties by expanding its commercial spectrum, the event will take place at the Estaci\u00f3n Cultural, located at L\u00ednea y 18, Vedado, Havana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, 118 exhibitors will participate in the capital&#8217;s edition of the fair, including 99 Cubans, 18 foreigners and 1 institutional stand, according to the CFCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the national participation, there are 77 artists and 22 representatives of non-state actors. Meanwhile, the foreign representation includes several countries such as Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Guatemala, South Africa and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the fair, you will find quality local goods and services that are in high demand by the Cuban population on this special date: footwear, textiles, furniture, ceramics, costume jewelry, fibers, leather, goldsmithing, as well as design and customization of products or spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these distinctive handicraft items, there are others related to hardware, home decoration and food services, in order to diversify the company&#8217;s offer, according to the utilitarian needs of Cuban families and in line with the country&#8217;s economic updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, the Havana Fairgrounds will be the venue for the opening of the photographic exhibition <strong>Father from the Beginning<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Unicef Office in Cuba, which will also launch the <strong>I Educate Responsibly<\/strong> contest, related to the active exercise of parenthood and respectful upbringing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Arte para Pap\u00e1 Fair<\/strong> has a national scope, with sub-venues in all of Cuba&#8217;s provinces, promoting interaction between local creative forces and their audiences, as well as cultural events in each territory, such as fashion shows, plastic arts exhibitions and artistic presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Translated by Luis E.
