The latest album Fantas\u00edas y Habaneras<\/strong> by renowned Cuban flutist Niurka Gonz\u00e1lez will be presented on the most important digital platforms this Friday, June 16th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The press release issued by the Ojal\u00e1 Studios includes the instrumentalist’s own assessment of the album and the repertoire it offers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00abHarmony, coincidence, coexistence between the \u00abclassical\u00bb and the \u00abmodern\u00bb, perhaps between the past and the future, where everything comes together, explains the maestro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fantas\u00edas y Habaneras<\/strong> is an aesthetic proposal for the daily coexistence of dichotomies, of differences. That is why Georg Philipp Telemann, Juan Pi\u00f1era, the Baroque and the present, and vice versa, are intertwined in this musical exhibition that breaks down barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through a single instrument, a minimal expression of chamber music; the expressive grandeur of the flute, so close to the human voice,\u00bb says the clarinetist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This album was recorded, mixed and mastered between March and November 2021 at the Ojal\u00e1 Studios, with musical production and mixing by Niurka Gonz\u00e1lez. The recording, editing, mixing and mastering was done by sound engineer Olimpia Calder\u00f3n Arias, production assistant Mirtha Almeida Camejo, photography by Daniel Mordzinski and design by Vladimir P\u00e9rez D\u00edaz (Vlade).
