Habanos S.A. is currently in a privileged position, having achieved a record sales figure of $827 million in 2024. This impressive number comes from sales in over 130 countries, reflecting a 16 percent growth compared to the previous year.
The company’s growth across various categories has contributed to the success of the XXV edition of the Habano Festival, which kicked off on Monday, February 24, at the Palacio de Convenciones in Havana. This year’s festival welcomes 3,300 participants from 110 countries, along with 160 journalists from 21 nations.
In a press conference, Habanos S.A. executives, including Commercial Vice President Jorge Pérez and Development Vice President José María López Inchaurbe, highlighted these figures and expressed their satisfaction with the results.
The company’s success is also attributed to the quality of its products and services, supported by a global network of 4,705 retail outlets. These include La Casa del Habano (168), Cohiba Atmosphere (21), Habanos Specialist (1,311), Habanos Terrace (602), and Habanos Point (2,603). Additionally, Habanos S.A. is showcasing a portfolio of 27 brands and 33 new products for 2024.
Another significant detail is the continued dominance of China as the top market in terms of value, with notable growth in the Asia-Pacific region, which saw a 24 percent increase. Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Germany follow closely behind in sales.
