Havana All Stars Orchestra: 25 Years on Stage
The Teatro América will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Havana All Stars Orchestra, part of the roster of the Ignacio Piñeiro Music and Entertainment Marketing Company, with a gala concert.
This Saturday, October 17, at 5:00 p.m., Teatro América will pull out all the stops to host 25 Years on Stage, a special performance marking the Havana All Stars Orchestra’s artistic career and its contribution to Cuban popular music.
The evening, which promises to be one of the season’s most memorable events, will feature appearances by renowned figures from Cuba’s cultural scene. Special guests include 2012 National Music Award winner Beatriz Márquez, popular artist Mayito Rivera, and acclaimed musician Félix Baloy, who will join the orchestra for a repertoire spanning the most emblematic hits of its two-and-a-half decades of musical history.
The show, also sponsored by the Provincial Directorate of Culture of Havana, will feature the Orozco Contemporary Dance Company, the Amigos del Danzón dance couples, and the Ballet Teatro América. These ensembles will bring a first-rate visual and choreographic dimension to the evening, enriching the artistic program.
The event will be hosted by renowned presenter Pedro Martínez Arcos, while artistic direction has been entrusted to maestro Arnaldo Díaz, who has worked alongside the orchestra to create a show that brings together music, dance, and tradition.
With this concert, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Ministry of Culture, Havana All Stars reaffirms its place on the Cuban music scene and shares this milestone with the public, celebrating not only its longevity but also the evolution and enduring relevance of its sound within Cuba’s musical landscape.
