An invitation to share the joy of dance

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) invites lovers of the art of dance to continue enjoying the love, solidarity, harmony, friendship and motivation generated by its summer courses.

The closing gala of the first stage has just ended with a fabulous show for the whole family, which demonstrated how much knowledge and affection can be shared in these events.

The second stage of the 29th Edition of the Summer Course is underway and the teachers are very happy to see the interest and dedication of the students. The results will be presented at the closing gala, scheduled for July 29 at 8:00 p.m. in the Amphitheater of the Historic Center of Old Havana, an institution with more than eight decades of cultural history.

Tickets for the closing gala of this second phase will go on sale Wednesday, July 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the box office of the famous amphitheater on Avenida del Puerto. They will also be available online through the ENZONA platform.

There are still opportunities for children and teenagers who want to acquire or improve their knowledge of dance, as the third phase of the summer course will take place from July 31 to August 12.

All they have to do is go to the LADC headquarters, located at calle Compostela, 659, entre Luz y Acosta, in Old Havana, during business hours to register for the classes.

Classes will be held at the above address and at Malecón Art 255, located at Malecón, número 255, entre Blanco y Galiano, in the Centro Habana neighborhood of the capital.

The summer courses, in its three stages, welcomes dance students and professionals to make vacations a space for healthy, attractive and group learning, using art as a medium. The experiences cultivated consolidate it as an event full of dance, learning and joy.

Those who come to these courses have the opportunity to interact with prestigious teachers and dancers who teach ballet, flamenco, popular Cuban dances, folklore, urban and fusion dance (the hallmark of the company); in addition to performing in some of the wonderful settings of the Cuban capital.

To the pride of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, hundreds of children and teenagers from different cities of Cuba and the world have passed through its halls during this summer season.
