Art for Dad Fair Closed, but Estación Cultural on Línea y 18 Remains Open

The Art for Dad Fair in Havana closed as scheduled this Saturday, June 17, at the Estación Cultural on Línea y 18, in El Vedado.
A total of 118 exhibitors participated in the capital’s edition of the fair, including 99 Cubans, 18 foreigners and 1 institutional stand. There was international participation from Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Guatemala, South Africa and India.
The fair was an opportunity to have access to high quality goods and services that are highly demanded by the population: footwear, textiles, furniture, ceramics, jewelry, fibers, leather, goldsmithing, as well as design and customization of products or spaces.
In addition to the various handicrafts, there were other products related to hardware, home decoration and food services.
At the request of the public and due to the demand for some services, the Estación de Línea y 18 will reopen this Monday. Foreign exhibitors, new non-state business actors and creators included in the catalog of the Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets will continue to offer products in the interest of diversifying the company’s offer, according to the utilitarian needs of Cuban families and in tune with the country’s economic updates.
