ArteMorfosis Announces the 8th Edition of Prisma: Landscape and Havana Biennial

ArteMorfosis, a platform for contemporary Cuban art with a presence in Zurich and Havana, has announced the call for entries for the eighth edition of its renowned Prisma competition. This time, Prisma aligns with the 15th Havana Biennial, inviting artists to explore the concept of landscape from innovative perspectives.

Open to Cuban artists over the age of 18, Prisma 8 invites participants to reflect on the landscape in all its dimensions. With no thematic or technical limitations, artists are free to express their vision of the landscape through any artistic medium. Selected works will be part of a collateral exhibition at the Havana Biennial, providing a unique platform for the promotion of contemporary Cuban art.

Winning works will be prominently featured in Event Rooms, an ArteMorfosis project located in Havana. In addition, the selected pieces will gain wide visibility through ArteMorfosis’s digital platform and an immersive virtual reality exhibition, thereby expanding the contest’s international reach.

With Prisma 8, ArteMorfosis reaffirms its commitment to promoting contemporary Cuban art. By linking the competition with the Havana Biennial, the platform seeks to strengthen ties between Cuban artists and the international art scene, fostering an enriching dialogue between diverse creative perspectives.
