Celebrating 26 Years of Musical Excellence at the Lyceum Mozartiano of Havana

Celebrating its 26th anniversary in 2025, the Lyceum Mozartiano of Havana has established itself as an essential cultural space, fulfilling its mission of reaching out to different sectors of society through music.
The concert will take place this Thursday, January 30, at 6:00 p.m. in its usual venue, the Oratorio San Felipe Neri.
The carefully curated program will pay tribute to the genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Lyceum Mozartiano of Havana Orchestra, under the baton of its principal conductor, Maestro José A. Méndez Padrón, will feature soloists Jeyson Varona, Lisbet Sevila, Elionay Figueroa, Indira Ramos, and the talented soprano Samantha Correa.
Since 2009, the Lyceum, under the direction of Maestro Ulises Hernández, has been a beacon of classical music in Cuba. «We warmly invite the Havana community and all music lovers to join us for this magical evening,» reads a post on the Lyceum’s Facebook page.
The Lyceum Mozartiano of Havana was created with the support of the Office of the Historian of Havana, the Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, and the University of the Arts of Cuba.
