Habana Dance Intensive, an Invitation to Continuous Growth
The second edition of Habana Dance Intensive, an ideal program for enriching and refining dance skills, will take place in 2026 in Havana, featuring a group of renowned international instructors.
From March 30 to April 4, 2026, the event will invite children and young people to take advantage of the school break to activate their artistic abilities and grow within the art of movement, according to a statement from the company Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba.
Classes will be held at the company’s headquarters in the Belén neighborhood of Havana’s Historic Center, and at Malecón Art 255, in the Central Havana municipality. Both institutions successfully hosted the first edition of the event this year and reaffirmed as key spaces for dance education and practice.
Registration is open to students of all dance styles from 7 years of age and up. The program includes courses such as Dance Fusion, Ballet, Flamenco, Urban Dance, and Prop Handling, all taught by instructors from Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba and guest teachers from various countries.
The press release adds that groups will be organized according to each participant’s age and level of experience, in order to ensure that students get the most out of the classes and receive personalized attention.
The week will conclude with a special closing event starring the students, who will celebrate the learning and experiences gained during the course.
