Habana Dance Intensive: Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Invites You This April

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) invites children, adolescents, and young adults to take advantage of the upcoming school break by participating in the Habana Dance Intensive—a unique opportunity to deepen their dance expertise through immersive workshops.

Taking place from April 14 to 19 at two vibrant Havana locations—LADC’s headquarters (Calle Compostela entre Luz y Acosta) and MalecónArt 255 (Malecón, entre Blanco y Galiano)—this program welcomes students aged 7 and older, regardless of their dance background.

Participants can choose from a diverse range of classes, including Ballet, Flamenco, Fusion Dance, Popular Dances, Contemporary Dance, Physical Conditioning, Urban Dance, and Prop Work. All sessions will be led by LADC’s talented dancers and instructors, as well as guest artists.

In this inaugural edition, participants will also have the opportunity to attend master classes taught by esteemed instructors, including the event’s founder, director, and choreographer, Lizt Alfonso.

The intensive will feature two daily sessions: the morning session from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students will be assigned to a session based on their age and skill level to ensure optimal engagement and learning.

The week will culminate in a spectacular closing showcase, featuring participant performances, celebrations, and exciting surprises.

Registration is now open online at liztalfonso.com/habana-dance-intensive. Spots are limited, and enrollment will remain open until capacity is reached.
