Presentation of a book by Spanish chef Miguel Ángel Jiménez

The book Cuba en mi cocina by the Spanish chef Miguel Ángel Jiménez will be presented this Friday, June 30th, at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba at 6:00 p.m. The book is dedicated to the recovery and combination of Cuban and Spanish culinary traditions and will be available in digital format.
This book, published by ARTex’s Ediciones Cubanas, is the second by Jiménez, who previously published Chefarándula, raíces que unen dos culturas with the writer Susana Camino.
Like the first book, Cuba en mi cocina explores the culinary diversity of the Caribbean nation and the experiences shared with different personalities of Cuban culture. Edited by Oday Enríquez Cabrera, the book includes reviews of the guest personalities and more than fifty photographs.
The book features personalities such as Isabel Santos, Beatriz Márquez, Ivette Cepeda, José Rubiera, Vania Borges, Haila María Mompié and Barbarito Torres. Also on the list are the Brazilian intellectual Frei Betto, the corporate chef of the Iberostar chain, Honorato Espinar, and the actresses Miriam Socarrás and Andrea Doimeadiós.
A great admirer of Cuban cuisine and traditions, Miguel Ángel Jiménez has had a distinguished career in the most important hotels of the largest archipelago of the Antilles. He graduated as a chef from the San Vicente Ferrer Institute in Valencia in 2000 and has participated in various events related to cuisine in Cuba and abroad.
