Russian Publications Donated to the National Museum of Fine Arts of Havana

A substantial donation of publications from the Russian Museum, made by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Havana, will enrich the bibliographic collection of the Antonio Rodríguez Morey Information Center at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba starting this Wednesday.

The donation includes around twenty books and catalogs, which add to the more than 60 books previously contributed for the same purpose, continuing the diplomatic collaboration with the institution. This ongoing partnership is facilitated through the Virtual Russian Museum, the only one of its kind in Cuba.

The donation was presented by Mr. Vladimir Moiseev, Press Attaché of the Embassy, and received by Oscar Antuña, Deputy Director General of the National Museum of Fine Arts; Ana María Fuentes Galeto, Deputy Director of Cultural Outreach; and Roxana Fragoso, Head of the Information Center.

Since its establishment, the virtual branch of the Russian Museum has become an opportunity to explore its collections and exhibitions through new technologies, access multimedia applications, and, among other advantages, study the art of the great Eurasian nation.
