Summer of Love at the Estación Cultural on Línea y 18

This Summer of Love is reflected in several cultural activities offered by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC, in its Spanish acronym) in the Cuban capital.

At the Estación Cultural on Línea y 18, in Vedado, Havana, all audiences can enjoy different events, reports the FCBC.

From Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., artisans and artists gather in more than 20 stands to sell a variety of utilitarian products made by FCBC creators.

They provide textiles, school and home supplies, jewelry and toys, as well as food. Along with the artisans, non-state business actors participate.

During the week, a cultural program is planned for this large space, with children’s shows and instrumentalists performing in concerts.

Collective exhibition Post-it. Re-presenta!

Another attraction at the Línea y 18 fairgrounds during these days is the collective exhibition Post-it. Re-presenta!, a visual journey through the ten years of the competition promoted by Collage Habana with the best of young Cuban art.

The exhibition, open until September, includes prizes and mentions, frequent participants and the presence of artists whose involvement in the competition has been significant.

Meanwhile, as part of the summer, the FCBC is holding the 22nd Cuban Culture Fair, Arte en la Rampa, until September 2 at the Pabellón Cuba.
