Casa de las Tejas Verdes Hosts Photography Exhibition in Tribute to Leal

This past Saturday, Casa de las Tejas Verdes opened the photography exhibition Verdadera razón de un Homenaje at its headquarters in Playa, as part of a commemoration honoring the late historian Eusebio Leal Spengler on what would have been his 83rd birthday.
The collective exhibition features selected photographs from the final projects of participants in the Iniciando los caminos de la fotografía workshop, led by renowned photojournalist Raúl Abreu Acuña. Now in its fourth edition, the workshop was part of the recently concluded Routes and Walks 2025 project, organized by the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana.
The images capture Havana’s rich and diverse architecture, urban landscapes, its connection to the sea, the city’s sociocultural works as it approaches its 506th anniversary, and the restoration of historic sites.
Located at the intersection of Calle 2 and la Quinta Avenida in Miramar, Casa de las Tejas Verdes serves as a hub for modern and contemporary architecture, urban planning, and interior design.
