Un puente hacia La Habana Festival Arrives in Diez de Octubre Municipality
Remaining true to its itinerant nature, the Un puente hacia La Habana festival will make its 2026 stop in Diez de Octubre municipality, offering a wide range of activities over two consecutive weekends: June 4–7 and June 11–14. This year’s venue will be the Centro Cultural Mónaco.
In remarks to the television program 23 y M, Jorge Luis Robaina (Jorgito Karamba), the event’s artistic director, highlighted several attractions on the schedule, including the evening of Friday, June 5, featuring Lucasnómetro and its guest performers. The lineup includes Dúo Gminis, Liester M y su Grupo, Mawell, Yoe de Oro, and Yuly and Havana C.
Other well-known artists will also take the main stage, including Karamba, Ray Fernández, and Spanish singer Pilar Boyero on Saturday, June 6; David Blanco on Sunday, June 7; Moncada on Friday, June 12; La Cruzada and Bonus Track on Saturday, June 13; and Conjunto Roberto Faz on the festival’s closing day, Sunday, June 14.
In addition, morning programming will feature performances for children, including appearances by La Colmenita de Diez de Octubre and the municipality’s Orquesta Infantil, Robaina added.
He also noted that children, teenagers, and young people will have access to the parque de la Feria de los Gitanos, where a variety of recreational attractions and amusement equipment will be available.
The leader of Karamba further announced that the festival will be supported by a backup power generator, allowing scheduled activities to proceed even in the event of electrical outages. He also expressed gratitude for the support provided by sponsoring and collaborating institutions, as well as for the work of 360 Producciones, the event management company he heads, which has served as the driving force behind the festival for the past three editions.
Un puente hacia La Habana is sponsored by the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (Egrem) and its artistic representation agency Musicuba, as well as by the Dirección Provincial de Cultura de La Habana, the Dirección Municipal de Cultura de Diez de Octubre, the Centro Nacional de Música Popular, and the Ministerio de Cultura.
