Con la esperanza del mundo Returns to UNEAC
The Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) will revive its children’s program, Con la esperanza del mundo, beginning Wednesday, July 1, at the organization’s national headquarters on the corner of 17th and H Streets in Havana’s Vedado neighborhood.
According to a UNEAC Facebook post, the initiative will offer a schedule of activities designed specifically for children, including workshops, artistic performances, exhibitions, and games.
The program will be held every Wednesday throughout July and August starting at 10:00 a.m. local time. As in previous editions, it will bring together artists and creators from a range of disciplines in an effort to nurture artistic sensibilities and encourage creative expression from an early age.
Part of the Arte fiel program, Con la esperanza del mundo reaffirms UNEAC’s commitment to fostering new audiences and promoting art as an essential tool for education, personal enrichment, and the development of future generations, the organization said.
