Trova’s Tres Tazas program celebrates its 15th anniversary

A concert dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Tres Tazas program, led by singer-songwriter Silvio Alejandro, will be held on Friday, June 9, at 4:00 p.m. in the pergola of the Pabellón Cuba in Havana’s Rampa.

The event will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Nueva Trova movement, its declaration as a national patrimony, and the 25th anniversary of the Tropa Cósmica Internacional.

Since its inception, Tres Trazas has been committed to the preservation of the Cuban Trova and the dissemination of singer-songwriter songs through performances by Cuban artists, as well as the promotion of other artistic disciplines and manifestations.

Augusto Blanca, Heidi Igualada, Marta Campos, Mauricio Figueiral, Adrián Berazain, Raúl Torres, Ariel Díaz, Alejandro Valdés and Betty Valladares, among others, have been invited to perform.

Personalities such as Diego Gutiérrez, Erick Méndez, Juani Bone, Charlie Salgado and Juan Carlos Pérez are also on the list of celebrities and representatives of cultural institutions who have played an important role in the 15 years of this initiative.

The singer-songwriter Adrian Berazain also designed the promotional poster for the concert.
