Arte para Papá Gift Fair 2023 with the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets

Under the name of Arte para Papá (Art for Dad) Gift Fair, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (CFCA) announces its traditional event dedicated to Cuban fathers from June 9 to 17.

Dedicated to the 45th anniversary of this institution and with novelties by expanding its commercial spectrum, the event will take place at the Estación Cultural, located at Línea y 18, Vedado, Havana.

So far, 118 exhibitors will participate in the capital’s edition of the fair, including 99 Cubans, 18 foreigners and 1 institutional stand, according to the CFCA.

As part of the national participation, there are 77 artists and 22 representatives of non-state actors. Meanwhile, the foreign representation includes several countries such as Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Guatemala, South Africa and India.

At the fair, you will find quality local goods and services that are in high demand by the Cuban population on this special date: footwear, textiles, furniture, ceramics, costume jewelry, fibers, leather, goldsmithing, as well as design and customization of products or spaces.

In addition to these distinctive handicraft items, there are others related to hardware, home decoration and food services, in order to diversify the company’s offer, according to the utilitarian needs of Cuban families and in line with the country’s economic updates.

Likewise, the Havana Fairgrounds will be the venue for the opening of the photographic exhibition Father from the Beginning, in collaboration with the Unicef Office in Cuba, which will also launch the I Educate Responsibly contest, related to the active exercise of parenthood and respectful upbringing.

The Arte para Papá Fair has a national scope, with sub-venues in all of Cuba’s provinces, promoting interaction between local creative forces and their audiences, as well as cultural events in each territory, such as fashion shows, plastic arts exhibitions and artistic presentations.
