A book to know the charms of the radio

A book to know the charms of the radio

La Radio Cubana desde algunas miradas de la investigación, coordinated by Beatriz Elena Fonseca Muñoz and Luis Alain de la Noval Bautista, published by Ediciones EnVivo, was presented on Wednesday, May 24, at the Fayad Jamís bookstore in Old Havana.

At the event, Dr. Beatriz Elena Fonseca Muñoz, Doctor of Social Communication Sciences, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication at the University of Havana, and Dr. Norma Gálvez, director of the aforementioned publishing house, talked about the book with journalist and critic Fernando Rodríguez Sosa.

The book contains a dozen abstracts of academic studies on the models and practices of Cuban radio stations from different regions of the country.

In these pages -as Fonseca Muñoz states- we want to pay tribute to the people who, through research carried out in the university environment, founded Cuban radio, created and continue to create radio products.
