Artists from the National Ballet of Cuba visit the Great Tank Unit of the Revolutionary Armed Forces

A delegation from the National Ballet of Cuba, led by its general director, prima ballerina Viengsay Valdés, and principal dancer Dani Hernández, director of the Fernando Alonso National Ballet School, visited the Great Tank Unit of Combat Glory Rescue of Sanguily, under the Antonio Maceo Order.
They were warmly received by the unit’s leadership, who explained numerous aspects of interest regarding the work carried out by our defense troops to the artists from the Cultural Heritage of the Nation Company, as reported by Mauricio Abreu, Head of Press and Publicity of the emblematic company.

On this occasion, the didactic show Un encuentro con la danza, la técnica, la expresión y sus estilos was presented by Dr. Miguel Cabrera, historian of the National Ballet of Cuba, with the participation of dancers Nadila Estrada and Alejandro Alderete.
This conference on the appreciation of the art of ballet was attended by a large audience of military and civilian personnel from the unit.
