Conference «Fidel, Ardent Prophet of the Dawn» Continues

The lecture titled «Martí and Fidel in the Genesis of the Cuban Revolution,» presented by Doctor of Historical Sciences María Caridad Pacheco, continues the series of conferences titled «Fidel, Ardent Prophet of the Dawn,» marking the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

According to information shared with our editorial office by journalist and critic Fernando Rodríguez Sosa, this new event will take place at the Economic Society of Friends of the Country (SEAP) on Friday, March 1, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cuban Embassy in Havana.

This ongoing initiative, scheduled throughout the year 2024, is organized by the SEAP and its Social Sciences and Culture Sections, with the collaboration of the Honorary Chair for the Study of the Thought and Work of Fidel Castro from the University of Havana. The objective is to ponder over the impact of the Commander-in-Chief on the political, economic, social, and cultural fabric of the Cuban nation, and to assess the relevance of his legacy in the contemporary world, as articulated by Rodríguez Sosa.

As in previous instances, individuals intrigued by the theme of the upcoming conference are welcome to attend the SEAP headquarters, situated on Salvador Allende, número 710, entre Soledad y Castillejo, in Centro Habana muncipality.
