Opening of personal exhibitions Camejo en el Taller and 90m + 10ª = JEFF

The National Council of Plastic Arts will inaugurate two personal exhibitions of Luis Ernesto Camejo and José Emilio Fuentes Fonseca (JEFF).

This Friday, 20 October, Cuba’s National Day of Culture, Camejo en el Taller, by the artist Luis Ernesto Camejo, will open at the René Portocarrero screen printing workshop, located on Calle Cuba, número 513, entre Teniente Rey y Muralla, in the oldest part of the capital.

The exhibition is a retrospective of the graphic work of Luis Ernesto Camejo and will include the presentation of a portfolio of serigraphs by the artist himself, as part of the celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the workshop.

The following day, Saturday the 21st, at 9 pm, the exhibition 90m + 10ª = JEFF will be inaugurated at La Acacia Gallery. The exhibition is based on the ten years that have passed since José Emilio Fuentes Fonseca (JEFF) stopped painting with the intensity that characterised his prolific artistic output.

La Acacia Gallery will be the stage for an artist’s reunion with his essence. The ninety metres of the gallery will reflect ten years of experience accumulated by Jeff, who synthesises his forms to encompass the plurality of the iconographic universe that characterises and defines him.

La Acacia Gallery is located on Calle San José, entre Industria y Consulado, in the Centro Habana district.
