To Grow Through Dance: 32nd Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Summer Course
The 32nd Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Summer Course kicks off on July 13, offering a unique opportunity for students and professional dancers who aspire to grow in an environment defined by excellence and a deep passion for dance.
A distinguished faculty of teachers and choreographers from the company, joined by guest artists from renowned international troupes, will lead this creative journey, according to the press release.
Participants aged six and older are welcome, with no upper age limit. The only requirement is a basic knowledge of dance in any style, though there will also be dedicated spaces for professionals, including both dancers and instructors.
The program features Master Classes and a wide range of disciplines, including Fusion Dance, Ballet, Flamenco, Urban Dances, Cuban Popular Dances, Use of Props, Physical Conditioning, and Choreographic Staging.
The first session will run through July 25, with the second scheduled from July 27 to August 8. Each will conclude with a Closing Gala at the National Theatre of Cuba, where participants will showcase what they have learned in a series of choreographies.
Throughout these weeks, study and enjoyment go hand in hand, because learning through dance is, without a doubt, one of the best ways to grow, connect with others, and make the most of the summer.
