Arte para Papá Returns to the Línea y 18 Cultural Center

To honor fathers, the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC) is once again inviting the public to attend the Arte para Papá National Handicrafts Fair, which will take place from June 13 to 20 at the Línea y 18 Cultural Center in Havana’s Vedado district, Plaza de la Revolución Municipality.

Held annually in the days leading up to the third Sunday in June, when Father’s Day is celebrated, this nationwide event will showcase some of the finest handcrafted products from across the country. The fair will also feature activities for the entire family, with special attention to fathers and their loved ones.

As is now tradition, Arte para Papá will offer visitors a wide selection of handcrafted goods, including textiles, footwear, furniture, gold and silversmith work, fashion jewelry, ceramics, glassware, metal crafts, ornamental plants, and many other artisan products.

The Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets has also planned a series of cultural outreach activities at nursing homes, where donations and gifts will be presented to senior citizens as part of the institution’s ongoing program of support for vulnerable sectors of society.
