Arte para Mamá National Crafts Fair: Creation Calls to Us Once Again

Arte para Mamá National Crafts Fair: Creation Calls to Us Once Again

Celebrating mothers is also an ode to the sensitivity that shapes us. Giving handmade art created by Cuban artisans is, in turn, an expression of identity. The Arte para Mamá National Crafts Fair, which opened this Saturday, April 25, at Estación Cultural de Línea y 18, is an excellent opportunity to pay tribute to those who have devoted their lives to caring for us.

At this Havana venue, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors can find finely crafted works in ceramics, textiles, wood, leather, and jewelry, with designs that combine traditional knowledge with contemporary perspectives. These pieces bear the hallmark of a craft tradition that upholds identity, quality, and cultural meaning.

Through May 9, the public can enjoy works that embody heritage and contemporaneity, craftsmanship and beauty—pieces that engage in dialogue with our roots and authentically reflect the nation we are.

Arte para Mamá is a celebration of living culture, handmade creation, and the creative vision that distinguishes Cuban craftspeople.
