Children’s Fair “El Trompo” to Hold Fourth Edition

The fourth edition of the Children’s Fair “El Trompo” will take place from April 12 to 18 across neighborhoods, hospitals, and homes for children without parental care, as well as at the Línea y 18 Cultural Station in Havana’s Vedado district.

According to the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets, the event’s organizer, the initiative aims to bring the fair directly to local communities and deliver art and joy to children.

This year’s edition will be dedicated to Cuban animated productions, with the collaboration of the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC).

The fair has a nationwide scope, with adaptations tailored to each province.

In the Cuban capital, the opening will take place on Sunday, April 12, in the La Timba community, featuring a performance by La Colmenita de Plaza and the play “Little Red Riding Hood.”

The Línea y 18 Cultural Station will open its doors from Thursday, April 16, through Sunday, offering cultural activities for children, interactive games, food options, and free admission.
