enVivo Publishing House, an imprint of the Institute of Information and Social Communication (ICS), has unveiled its program for the 34th Havana International Book Fair 2026, featuring titles that offer compelling reflections on historical memory and artistic creation, as well as works commemorating the centenary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro.

This Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m., the Che Guevara Hall at the ICS—23rd Street and M—will host presentations of Parece que fue ayer, by Josefa Bracero; Desde la cuna del Bayardo, co-authored with prominent broadcaster and announcer César Arredondo, a tribute to Camagüey radio station Radio Cadena Agramonte; Teatro 2, by Joaquín Cuartas; and Los ojos de Raquel, by Julio César Ramírez, a biography that preserves the legacy of actress Raquel Revuelta.

On Wednesday the 12th, at 10:00 a.m., enVivo will present Entre telones, by Alfonso Menéndez, at Havana’s Casa del Alba Cultural. The book offers a glimpse into life behind the scenes, with Magda González Grau and Frank Padrón serving as hosts.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, the day Cuba celebrates Fidel Castro’s centenary, the lobby of the ICRT building at 23rd Street and M will host La artillería pesada, compiled by Ovidio Cabrera, Irma Cáceres, and Yoerky Sánchez. The book is a collective chronicle by journalists about the leader and the stories that emerged from decades of accompanying him on international assignments.

That same day, readers will also have the opportunity to discover Escuchar con el corazón, by Amalia Catalá, Ovidio Cabrera, and Lourdes Espinosa. The volume invites readers to get to know Fidel from a more intimate and emotional perspective, bringing together 100 anecdotes that portray him in his most human dimension.

On the academic front, Campo abierto para la crítica de la epistemología de la comunicación, by César Bolaño, will be made available to readers at the ICS Hall on Friday the 14th. The book is regarded as a major contribution to communication studies in Latin America.

Radio history is also revisited in ¡Silencio! La Universidad en el aire, by Hernán Yglesias Villar, to be presented at the Che Guevara Hall at the ICS at 10:00 a.m., as well as in Radiaciones. Así suena la vida, by Reinaldo Cedeño.

With this catalog, enVivo will reaffirm its role at the Havana International Book Fair as a platform for cultural and journalistic dissemination, with a sales booth at the Línea and 18 Cultural Station. The publishing house will bring together historical memory, tribute, and critical reflection at Cuba’s most important literary event.
