Landscape Is a Verb at the Servando Gallery

As part of the Danish artist-in-residence program Brigade and its collaborative project with the Servando Gallery, the exhibition Landscape is a verb, by Danish artists Amanda Lydért and Frederik Nystrup-Larsen, will be inaugurated this Friday, February 3rd.

The event, hosted by Génesis Galerías de Arte, will open at 7 pm at the Servando Gallery in Havana.

According to the Marketing and Communications Department of Génesis Galerías de Arte, the exhibition aims to show the works created by the artists during their residencies in Cuba from 2022 to the present day.

The current residents, protagonists of this artistic project, are Amanda and Frederik, who have adapted their poetics and manners to the contents, symbols, and materials offered by the Cuban context.

Thus, concepts such as consumption, souvenir, recycling, ecology, and landscape have influenced the creation of the pieces and the exhibition.

Landscape is a verb will be open to the public at the Servando Gallery, located on Calle 23, esquina a 10, in Vedado, during February, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
