Siguiendo el hilo del tiempo at the 32nd Havana International Book Fair

On February 19, Siguiendo el hilo del tiempo, a book by artist Yudit Vidal Faife, will be presented at la Calle de Madera in the Historic Center. The book, which pays tribute to the third village and those dedicated to manual work with thread and needle, will be available to readers in Havana as part of the 32nd Havana International Book Fair.

The event is sponsored by Ediciones Boloña, a label of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana and was recently presented during the celebrations for the 510 years of Trinidad, the city of the renowned painter.

The book is published by Ediciones Cubanas de Artex, with a foreword by Nelson Herrera Ysla and narrative texts by Cristina González Béquer. It is a significant contribution for Trinidad to receive the status of Craft City and Creative City of the world.

The Havana International Book Fair will also have presentations and sales of books from Editorial En Vivo starting from the 16th. Temas básicos de realización audiovisual by Jorge Alonso Padilla and Memorias de un olvido by José Raúl Estol will be available at the Casa del Alba Cultural in Havana.

On the 19th, the focus will shift to Reflexiones Marxianas by Isabel Monal, a writer honoured at the literary event, which will take place at the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac).

The following day, Con voz de mujer, a text by Virgen Gutiérrez, and Joseíto Fernández: El rey de la melodía by María Eugenia Azcuy and Osmar Noriega will be available for purchase at the Casa del Alba and the José Martí Cultural Society, respectively.
