The National Museum of Fine Arts invites you to the exhibition Eladio Rivadulla. Ins and Outs of a Creator

The National Museum of Fine Arts of Havana will inaugurate this Thursday, August 3, the temporary exhibition Eladio Rivadulla. Ins and Outs of a Creator, in the lobby of the Antonio Rodríguez Morey Information Center of the Cuban Art Building.

On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Eladio Rivadulla Martínez (Havana, 1923-2011), the exhibition reveals a little-known facet of his laudable artistic work.  His extensive and widely acclaimed work as an illustrator and designer, initiator of the graphic art of the Revolution, has earned him numerous awards for his contributions to this discipline in an uninterrupted career spanning more than 60 years.

Eladio Rivadulla. Ins and Outs of a Creator, curated by Yahíma Rodríguez Pupo, focuses on the pictorial work of this artist. It presents a selection of pieces from the family collection, created during the first five years of the 1960s, and complements the discourse with a documentary display that includes catalogs, photographs, sketches, and awards and recognitions that Rivadulla received in this discipline.

The exhibition, which proposes a very intimate encounter with the sensitive universe of lines, colors and textures of this important Cuban creator, will be open until September 24.
